ABSTRACT WALL ART
Belgin’s creative process involves intuitively working with hand-formed porcelain pieces and carefully placing them onto a porcelain base. She usually starts with a random line or a few brushed stains, leaving her intuition and the ‘scales’ to lead her to the final design.
For the Coloured Abstract series, she mixes various stains into the paper porcelain clay to obtain the colour she wants to work with, which is the porcelain's natural colour.
Sometimes, she uses gold lustre or brushes gold enamel at the edge of the ‘scales’ to bring a settled shimmer, as seen on the Triptych II -II and Tower pieces.
Each piece has been mounted onto a wooden base. It features an invisible sub-floating frame with hanging fixtures, making it easier to install directly into your chosen space.
